7 Full-time 19 hours ago Full Job Description To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by providing superior quality, value and service by supporting Health First Private Duty, Staffing Services and Home Companions office to ensure department accounts receivable and payroll goals are met.
PriPrimary Accountabilities Performs complex billing and account representative duties, Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
Review, verifies, edits and troubleshoots complex billing and payroll forms prior to invoice or claim submission, detects and correct errors with billing and payroll.
Performs complex collections processes.
Makes calls to responsible parties to collect timely payments.
Performs complex account resolutions, contractual adjustments and write-offs.
Completes all Month End processes and communicates all finding with leaders and Finance departments.
Performs and completes weekly payroll duties including collecting, confirming and correcting shifts in the EMR, as well as accurately entering all time sheets into Kronos.
Submitting completed payroll to the payroll department Reviewing caregiver notes for accuracy and completion Scanning all required documentation into Electronic storage program correctly Assist with scheduling and on call duties as requested Performs office support and other duties as assigned Qualification:
High School diploma required; college experience or Associates degree preferred.
Three years experience in a health care facility.
Thorough knowledge of computer applications used within the department.
Advanced coding experience in ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS; coding certification preferred.
Good understanding of medical terminology.
Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner.
General understanding of accounting principles.
Thorough knowledge of state and federal contracts and managed care.
Thorough knowledge of government programs including Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
