The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate medical information to patients, physicians and nurses at our medical facility.
This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a desire to interact with a diverse group of people.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for front desk receptionists.
Answer a phone and take accurate messages for callers.
Communicate information to callers that would be helpful for their visit, such as lab results, insurance information, and directions to the office.
Schedule patient appointments according to the needs of the individual doctor.
Greet patients and assist them with scheduling appointments and payments.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to scheduling appointments.
Ensure that patients have an efficient experience while in the office.
