We have 1 location on Merritt Island, Florida.
We train people to scuba dive at multiple levels, provide rental scuba equipment, perform maintenance on scuba equipment, and are retail sellers of scuba equipment.
This position requires a commitment to customer care in gaining & maintaining repeat customers with charter and class reservations both in person and on the telephone.
Selling, planning and organizing trips, classes, community events.
Coordinating with instructors and divemasters, following up with students to gain equipment sales or continuing education courses.
As a dive shop employee, you must be able to lift scuba tanks.
Responsibilities Include:
Understanding & using our Point of Sale program for sales, rentals, inventory, trips & courses Manage phone & email communications Manage customer database Assign & complete rental agreements Create & confirm boat schedules, classes & events Collect & manage forms Marketing & Socia Media Retail Sales Processing, selling & stocking inventory Additional tasks include general store duties and as needed tasks.

High School diploma or equivalent Be fluent in English Must be Scuba Certified Be outgoing with a love for the industry Have working knowledge of word processing & point of sale programs Have business Social Media & Marketing experience Have reliable transportation Must be highly organized and a self-starter Participate in special events, community activities and dive trips You would be expected to work 5 days a week including Saturday.
You would be a salaried employee with some paid holidays off and 1 week paid vacation Opportunity for free boat trips, leading of international travel & free use of our equipment & air fills.
