This position provides overall assistance to the Preconstruction services personnel.
The Preconstruction Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, subcontractor lists and Preconstruction databases to enable the Preconstruction project team efforts by ensuring a timely deliverable.
Requires an Associates degree in Business, Logistics or other related curriculum or equivalent working knowledge/experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these Essential functions Following established procedures, the Preconstruction coordinator will manage, maintain and organize project files and distribute all correspondence as directed.
Prepare project files, including the use of bid solicitation software and The Austin Company's network to set up folder structure, project documentation and bidders list to ensure all documentation sent to potential trade partners is accurate and in line with The Austin Company SOP's.
Provide administration of The Austin Company's selected bid solicitation and estimating software.
Assist Preconstruction Manager and other project leads with tracking project costs, forecasting project outlook, reviewing proposals, and providing reports.
Responsible to receive job start-up notification, coordinate and implement the Preconstruction Proposal Process, and manage bid information for storage in the database.
Assists in the creation, organization, and implementation of various preconstruction systems and processes.
Prepares bid forms, prequalification's forms and prepares reports for proposal review meetings.
Solicits subcontractor proposals utilizing bid solicitation software, historical company databases, and online resources.
This position requires the incumbent to exercise his/her initiative, perseverance, tact and forcefulness to maintain all deliveries and responsibilities.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
