Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ,dependable and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing medical records, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks - Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow Skills To excel in this role, the Medical Receptionist should possess the following skills:
