Key job responsibilities-Build and scale Transportation activities occurring at the Payload Processing Facility (PPF) yard-Develop and document Transportation related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to operations at the PPF -Conduct weekly business reviews with stakeholders-Develop and regularly review yard operations metrics (On-Time %, Vehicle Down %, etc)-Responsible for the on-time arrival and processing of all shipments to the PPF-Develop measures to minimize risk from unavoidable delays -Receive shipments from 3rd party suppliers-Direct and coordinate trailer or container movements within the PPF Yard-Manage fleet of vehicles assigned to the PPF operation, to include inspections and coordination of maintenance activities-Compliance with US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations to include CFR Title 49 - Hazardous Materials Transportation Regulations-Interface with PPF personnel and ensure material flow is planned and executed-Shift schedule will vary, depending on production/launch schedulesWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Merritt Island, FL, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
