Integration Engineer, Kuiper Payload Processing Facility

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO).
Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The success of Kuiper depends on the quality, reliability, cost, integration, throughput, and security of the products that you deliver.
If you seek a fast-paced, dynamic environment; if you thrive on solving difficult problems where resolutions have high impact; and if you love the challenge of building something from scratch, then this role will be an ideal next career step.
To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution.
The Integration Engineer will lead technical assembly, integration and test flows for space hardware builds.
This individual will work closely with other engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate Kuiper satellites with dispenser and launch vehicle hardware.
The Integration Engineer is a technical lead of the team, providing guidance on many aspects including but not limited to testing requirements, assembly/integration work cell design within the payload processing facilities, facility and equipment planning, integration and test application implementation and improvement, process control, design for manufacturability, project management, and tooling design.
The ideal candidate is comfortable in a highly technical setting and leads collaboration with other departments to reach the best solution to any problem and is able to technically challenge assumptions and requirements of these departments, such as dynamics and thermal analysis, design engineering, and tooling engineering.
