Summary:
As a Dispatcher, you will work closely with our Greeter Team to provide efficient transportation for our cruise customers traveling throughout the day.
This position requires an understanding of transportation logistics to support the departments forecasting and planning goals.
If you want to start and end your workday early, we want to hear from you.
The schedule for this position is 6:
00 am--2:
00 pm, with a workweek that is typically Thursday- Monday.
It follows the cruise ship schedules in Port Canaveral, which include weekends and holidays.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Coordinate the distribution of manifests to our transportation and shuttle partners.
Ensure customers are kept happy and satisfied by providing prompt responses and solutions to transportation challenges.
Communicate to drivers to ensure all pick-ups are successfully completed.
Answer questions from sales staff as well as provide up-to-date information and feedback on any transportation issues.
Anticipate escalation and utilize problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
Act as communication liaison in responding to incoming calls from drivers on the road.
Devise ways to optimize procedures utilizing logistical details and forecasting skills.
Measure performance with key metrics as defined by management.
Learn basic knowledge of Greeter processes in the field and office.
Learn to dispatch from field and office for the Port Canaveral and Orlando Airport (MCO) area.
Understand contractual supplier relationships as well as our fleet and private vehicles for efficiency and accountability.

REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree or relevant equivalent work experienceOne year of dispatch experienceis preferredStrong knowledge of routes and roadways throughout the Orlando/ Port Canaveral areaProficient in the use of technology, including Google Drive applications and Microsoft products.
