Practice Administrator

Responsible to the Stock holder(s) of the professional corporation for the administration, direction, and coordination of all practice activities, except those directly involving medical judgement.

Required Education:
MBA or Masters in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Health Care Management

Five (5) years progressively responsible administrative experience in an applicable health care facility which includes working knowledge of billing and/or reimbursement, management of clinical and non-clinical staff and working with physicians, demonstrating management and leadership expertise.
Supervisory Responsibility for 40-60 employees.
Budgetary Responsibility:
Responsible for annual budget of Multi-million dollar multi-facet practices.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
