Job Description:
In a friendly professional environment, the Assistant Store Manager works with the Store Manager to develop and maintain the working environment within the store and to ensure outstanding customer service while overseeing business operations. Manages store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, including store opening and closing procedures; On- the-Job-Training ensures adherence to industry regulations and Company policy in order to comply and prevent losses or damage to Company and customer assets.

Responsibilities:
Assists with training and developing store associates to become knowledgeable and efficient in company policies and procedures, merchandising standards, and customer service.
Assists with compliance of Standards of Operations.
Completes or assists in the completion of Inventory Preparation Checklist on a quarterly basis.
Provides guidance to store associates for merchandise fill in and maintaining merchandising standards.
Trains store associates in the use of diamond and gold testers.
Opens, closes and secures store on designated days/shifts.

Required Skills and
Experience:
3 to 5 years experience in a Management role preferably within a retail environment.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy in work; and time management and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times when representing the company and management to the public and company associates.


Required Education:
High School diploma or GED and five to eight years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
